    Excellent protection for the iPad Pro 10.5 I specifically bought this iPad shell to use in conjunction with the Apple Smart Keyboard. It works very well in this configuration. Be advised that you are supposed to unsnap (and not use) the supplied face cover with this accessory–you only use that cover if you are not using the Smart Keyboard.The Cobalt Blue version of this accessory looks very professional with the Smart Keyboard, and the Smart Keyboard functions as the face cover of your iPad when stowed or carried. Very displeased with the smudge line the front cover always leaves on my screen, and it never stays in position while I’m trying to draw.     best rugged case I tried this one (UAG Folio iPad Pro 10.5), the otterbox and the pelican. This one was the best in actual ruggedization (pelican was the worst). The others were lighter and slimmer but I wanted something that gives extra durability for stepping on the ipad or bending it. It does add significant bulk and weight to the ipad though. I don’t use the screen cover, I use an Apple smart keyboard which works great with the back cover. The only negative is that then pencil clip doesn’t do a great…
